💓Will you help me Run For Heart?💓

This June I'll be feeling my heartbeat as I move a marathon distance to support people in Australia impacted by heart disease.

In December 2019 my mum had just gotten home from the gym, later that evening she went into cardiac arrest. She had a rare heart attack known as SCAD which primarily happens in healthy, fit women in their 40s. Thankfully my mum survived because of how quickly my dad began resuscitation.

She had all of the typical early heart attack symptoms for woman however, many doctors told her these are normal things to experience for a woman her age. This shows how more research needs to be done.

This is something she will never truly recover from but, watching my mum go through and survive this proves just how strong and resilient she is!

However, early diagnosis could have prevented this from ever happening!
